hineniBecome enriched while volunteering at Hineni.

Volunteering at Hineni is more than working in a Soup Kitchen; it is being part of a family that operates a Humanitarian restaurant, where one can meet people from all walks of life, and experience Israel’s society from within.

At Hineni the volunteers will not only clean kitchen equipment or peel vegetables, they will also receive information about the Biblical dietary laws and its relevance in today’s kitchen, the Jewish Holidays and traditions, while filling trays with food for disadvantaged youth and the homeless, get explanations about Hebrew words and sentences, enabling them to communicate better while serving food to the needy in the Hineni’s Humanitarian Restaurant.

They will have the opportunity to participate in Hineni’s Shabbat experience including a visit to the Western Temple Wall, followed by a traditional Shabbat Meal including explanations. They will have the opportunity to see Hineni’s presentation about 3000 years of anti-Semitism, the Anne Frank Exhibition, hear about what binds Jews and Christians, and our common vision for the future. In short, volunteering at Hineni is one of a kind enriching experience
